Alejandro Verdin, a seasoned political operative with extensive experience in political strategy, campaign management, coalition-building, and fundraising, created Nineteen Sixty Campaigns to work with transformational leaders to bring about lasting change for our communities. Verdin began his career as an organizer, and his work has taken him across the country in some of the most competitive races.

Most notably, he served as Campaign Manager on what the New York Times labeled "The Most Important Election of 2023." In this role, he led Judge Janet Protasiewicz's campaign for the Wisconsin Supreme Court to victory, breaking an all-time fundraising record for a judicial campaign in U.S. history and ultimately flipping control of the court to a liberal majority for the first time in 15 years.

Before that experience, he worked at the prestigious Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C., serving as Campaign Manager of the War Room. In this role, he directed advocacy and accountability campaigns across the country.

Verdin credits his family's activism as the reason he got into politics in the first place. His grandparents, who were farm workers, instilled in him the ethos of hard work, honesty (or "ser honesto" as his abuelito puts it), and integrity. Verdin takes that same approach with every project. He also notes that he has been fortunate to work around incredible people who have trusted him to lead teams and win campaigns.

As a result, Nineteen Sixty Campaigns grew into a collection of campaign professionals committed to creating a progressive and inclusive future. Guided by our principles—we dedicate ourselves to winning Democratic campaigns and providing innovative solutions that advance your priorities.

Through fundraising, insightful analysis, strategic thinking, and collaborative partnerships, we empower individuals, organizations, and communities to break barriers, challenge norms, and create lasting positive change. Together, we forge a path towards a more progressive world, leaving no one behind.
